Enable/Disable USB Port on Windows XP

On my new job at COMTECH, aside from teaching they put me on the computer laboratory as their maintenance. Lab is installed with Windows XP Home edition and other software but i will be migrating some computer to Edubuntu sooner or later. For the meantime I've tweak some on the registry of Windows Enable/Disable the USB port just to control student from inserting the memory stick:

On the registry:
Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentContolSet > Services > USBSTOR

Choose the Start Modify the value data 3 to 4 Hexadecimal

3= Enable
4= Disable
